INTERIM DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Part time: up to 15 hours/week

Position Vision and Purpose:

Provide Sunday morning programming for children ages infant – 5 th grade. You would need to be available most Sunday mornings, 8:00 am – noon.

Personal Qualities and Responsibilities:

  • Has experience as a volunteer in Community West’s children’s ministry or another church’s children’s ministry.

  • Recruits and supports volunteers for Sunday morning programming (much of the recruiting for the 1 st quarter of 2025 has been completed).

  • Serves as the on-site director for the ministry on Sunday mornings.

  • Supervises paid nursery and toddler workers (hires more as needed)

  • Serves as a member of the staff team, participating in twice monthly Staff

  • Community meetings.

Job Details:

Term – January 1 – March 31, 2025 (renewable).

Compensation - $23-25/hour, depending on experience.

Supervisor - Responsible to the Lead Pastor.
