Generosity Projects
Our generosity project is our way of loving friends and neighbors. The Christmas Tree Giveaway event is just one expression of “The Generosity Project”. Through flowers, pumpkins and Christmas trees we say we care and we love our community.
How it started
The original Generosity Project event was inaugurated in December 2014. The idea was simple: a free Christmas Tree with NO STRINGS ATTACHED! As the years went on, the total number of trees given away increased and this event expanded to include kids activities, food, warm beverages, and Christmas Wreath making.
Spring Generosity Project
May 4th we will pick up geraniums to deliver to people God has placed on our heart to bless with a smile and a plant. We give away red geraniums to plant hope and spread joy in people’s lives. We want our community to know they are loved and cared for by others.
COMMUNITY WEST Fall edition
GENEROSITY PROJECT
Until 2019 The Generosity Project only found its expression through our annual Christmas Tree Giveaway. A Pumpkin Giveaway, was added to our expressions of generosity to celebrate the fall season. We learned that generosity should not be limited to one part of the year and are continuing to look for ways to celebrate generosity all year long.
Join us October 4th at 9:00am.

COMMUNITY WEST WINTER GENEROSITY PROJECT
150 Trees are given away as an expression of love for our friends and community. Everyone enjoys hot cocoa, activities and receiving a tree. Join us December 6th.
