I am excited to be a part of the Community West staff as the Interim Director of Student Ministries! I have served for the past 5+ years in the youth programs at Mount Vernon Baptist Church. There we had small group time, worship, fellowship, and of course – events! I really enjoyed my time in youth, knowing I had a safe space to be myself and just knowing there was always someone to talk to about anything. I still recall the amazing memories made, along with biblical truths I can remind myself of today. During these developing times, it can be crucial as to what the youth are surrounded by when they are seeking to find answers and who they are. I am eager to be working with the middle and high schoolers at Community West and look forward to the increasing growth of the church!!
