Community West Church seeks to connect and build relationships in our neighborhood. At Godwin High School we are supporting the teachers and connecting with the students through luncheons, coffees and after school activities.

Kairos Prison Ministry International, Inc. (Kairos) is a lay-led, Christian ministry in which men and women volunteers bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to prisoners and their families. Community West supports this ministry in a tangible way by providing cookies to the serving team to demonstrate the love and care of community and Christ.

Our vision as a church is to get involved with the dark places in our community, to bring the hope and light of Christ.  We are currently researching the problem of teen trafficking in Short Pump, learning ways we can partner with organizations to help free teens from this tragic lifestyle.  As we learn more, we will share details, so stay tuned for future developments.
