Whenever we make decisions in life, most of us unconsciously ask ourselves questions like, “What do I want?” “What will make me happy?” or “What will keep me out of trouble?”  Typically, Christians layer on more questions like, “Is it right or wrong?” or “Will God be pleased with me?”  This is because most people think God is only interested in morality.  What is important about the book of Proverbs in the Bible is that in this book the writer asks a different question.  He asks a question not about morality, but wisdom.  What makes this the best question ever is we recognize that when God gives us guardrails in life, it is not because he wants to restrict our fun or rain on our parade, but to help us navigate life to receive the very best that life has to offer, as God designed it.
