As the Church grew in the books of Acts, so did the opposition. However, unexpectedly, instead of limiting the Church’s growth, the opposition helped fuel the growth of the Church. We’re in the season of Lent when we are invited into some of the more challenging currents of the spiritual life, like becoming more aware of our own sin and suffering, and that of the world. Ironically, some of these more challenging seasons can be the ones that result in the most growth. The pressure we undergo can be part of what God uses to form something beautiful in its place. Join us for this Lenten series.
