I’m New Here

Maybe it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, or maybe you’re completely new to it.
Perhaps you’re interested in following Jesus, but you’re not sure what to do next.

Here’s all you need to know when you visit on Sunday.

WHERE DO I GO?

Currently our Sunday worship has two tracks.

We offer an in person service, outside at 2340 Pump Road.  This service takes place under our covered pavilion.  We encourage you to bring your own chair and wear a mask.  If you cannot bring a chair or don’t have a mask, we have made arrangements to offer both.  This service last about 45 minutes and has plenty of room for social distance.

If you prefer to worship from the safety of your home we also offer an online message and children’s message which can be found on our website or on our Youtube Channel.

Our worship service starts at 11:00 AM and lasts about 45 minutes.

During that time we hear teaching from God’s Word, pray together, and sing together. At Community West we are passionate about worshiping God in our modern context while also celebrating the rich, meaningful history of the church through liturgy and hymns. We think God meets us through both.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We ask that you wear a mask and maintain social distance before, during, and after our worship service.  If you can bring your own chair we encourage you to do so, if you are unable we can provide one for you.

COME AS YOU ARE

Jeans, business casual, a suit or a dress, wear what you feel is comfortable.  Our slogan is “Be Yourself” and we really mean that, because we believe God receives us just as we are – but he loves us too much to leave us that way.

We love families at Community West. Community West Kids serves kids ages newborn to 5th grade, offering teaching and activities in a way that is both fun and engaging.

We love students! We believe students are integral parts of our church’s mission in West Richmond. Learn more about what types of events and programs we offer for students ages 6th – 12th grade!

The Sunday service is just one part of the life of our church. There are lots of ways to get connected.

Learn more about our mission, our beliefs, and our leaders by reading the “About” section.

Listen to a sermon before you visit or just to get some mid-week encouragement.
